My husband was diagnoised with a non-cancerous tumor in the brain - it is an acoustic narvona. I am probably not spelling it correctly.
Anyone out there know what I am referring to?
Here I go again about our home under constructions.
We've retained the services of Hispanics to paint. The interior as well as the eterior of the house.
They are doing such a horrible job. None of them care what they are doing. We're having to get most everything they have touched redone.
They've got exterior paint on my ouside stone --having to replace expensive stone. Several thousand dollars worth. They painted my windows inside shut and over sprayed them. They took razor blades to the windows to get the paint off they which completely VOIDED the warrantiy on the windows.
They've dripped exterior paint all over the new driveway.
They have sanded thru out the hosue and painted over the surfaces.
Need I say more. We have to use them to finish out the job because they have so much money tied up in the materials and we've retained their services thru the builder.
The builder has kicked butt to get them to do the right things.
Surely all these Hispanices that are coming to our country are this way. They don'e care. What do you think?
Thank you folks for your thoughts and prayers. Can't get enough.
I'm barn sitting this week. Like last year. Doesn't seem like it's been an entire year.
Doing a favor for a gal---she needed a vacation. I would too with this much work. I'm watching 9 horses, 9 mules, 6 goats, 8 burros, 8 alpaca and 4 birds. And I'm probably leaving something out. I've been singing Old McDonald had a farm all week. And Lord - I do smell bad when I leave the farm.
But you know - makes me feel good inside to have the nice opportunity to do a friend a favor and get back to some simple basics - the good old American farm. (no cows though at this place)
We have yet to move into our new home. I have never had such an project that was of this caliber.
Sorry that I haven' t been around in awhile. Lord only know there has been so much going on.
In the last few months we've not only had the new house building construction but my mom died. And more - we found out that my husband has a tumor in his brain - it is non cancerous. It will be removed after the first of the year.
I need to come back here and just post to my blog to share. It is good for me - just to have a quiet place to go.
But the new home is coming along.
Hope to hear from my buds soon.

I am happy with it getting larger and growing each week - I could jump for joy, but I won't.

Come on over -- I have central air and one huge skylight.

It's been a nice day. Had the daughter and grandaughter over for breakfast. Most folks cook out for lunch or dinner on Memorial Day---we're different. I cooked in and cooked a huge breakfast. Yummy Yummy. Had bacon, eggs and pancakes. You'll have to come over and join me for breakfast soon.
Had an incident this morning though. My 2 year old grandaughter sent to the bathroom and slipped. Bumped her little mouth on the fixture and litterly has pushed 4 teeth around. She ended up going to the hospital.where they have spent most of the day. Tomorrow, they see a children's dentist to check on these teeth on what is going to be done. I hope nothing is wrong. Chloe is such a little tom boy and a cutie at that too.
Hope you are having a good day. We're just ho-humm at this time.
To share with you - - - construction is underway. AMEN. Feels like it is taking forever. The foundations seems to be done and the framework should begin next week.
Bogie takes a long look at his new home and just can't frgure it out. To tell you the truth -- I can't either.
On another note. Happy Memorial Day!
I thank God above that we do live in such a blessed country where I can build a home and have a dog and where dreams do come true. We are allowed to dream -- What a blessing.
Thank you all who are have fought and are fighting in Irag and other countries for our freedom.
